Positive: It was our third stay at Scandic Munich, and overall we still appreciate the good location, excellent breakfast, and very clean rooms. Unfortunately, this visit was a bit disappointing. For some reason, the payment for the breakfast at check-in did not go through. The next evening, when we returned to the hotel late at night, our room cards had been blocked without any prior notice, which meant we could not access our room. As loyal returning guests, we found this quite disappointing. I believe there are more elegant and guest-friendly ways to handle a pending payment of 92 EUR.

Positive: Super nice hotel. Good for a couple nights in Munich with a friend. Next to an Aldi which was helpful.

Negative: Outside the city and about a 10 minute walk and 10 minute train ride ( if timed right- since you would have to walk around a bridge to get to the other side of the tracks, no underpass between 1/2 and 3/4) or a 20ish tram ride. Staff were helpful in the end but a bit overbearing when we brought up a confusion with booking on this website vs what was said on their website.

Positive: The location is very convinient. Public transport stop just in front of the hotel. The hotel is quite large but it does not feel like it and it is very cosy really. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The parking is not free of charge indeed but it is very convinent. Large parking spots and easily accessible. The breakfast is very good, the coffee also, so I do recommend it.

Negative: The charge for the parking but considering the parking is a problem in most large cities, it is ok :-)

Summary: I recommend it.

Positive: The location is great and near many attractions. Parking always available and below the hotel. The receptionists and staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean.

Negative: Complimentary water was not provided even though it was stated by the receptionist. I requested housekeeping but they didn’t show up. Construction work in the area was disturbing for drivers.

Summary: Very good hotel overall.

Positive: A modern hotel in a rather peripheral part of Munich. Excellent breakfast.

Negative: The hotel does not offer its own parking lot. You can use the underground parking lot under the hotel, we paid 30 euros for about 18 hours of stay. You can park for free in the side streets, but we didn't want to risk it because we had a car full of stuff (we just overslept at the hotel). There was practically no storage space in the room.

Positive: It was very clean, For me cleaness is very important. Every thing was brand new and clean. Breakfast was good, they had juice maker and everyday i could take carrots and ginger juice for myself which was very refreshing, service was very good.

Negative: It would be nice if they could leave more toilet papers. it was just one when it finished I had to ask recieption. Otherwise I liked every thing about it.
