Positive: The property is definitely a hidden gem. Keys were left on the inside of the door. Excellent places to walk and visit. Fantastic base. Will certainly book again.

Positive: Property was clean and comfortable inside. Lovely location for anyone who likes peace and quiet. Quality bedding, comfortable beds and lounge. Well equipped kitchen and enclosed garden area for dogs.

Negative: Unclear from the advert that there were many stairs up to the property from parking spot, sitting room was on 1st floor and even bathroom required a few stairs up then down. Outside seating had seen better days and wasn't really suitable for sitting out.

Positive: It is in a beautiful location, peaceful. lounge a nice place to relax.

Negative: uncomfortable and small beds. would consider replacing with modern king size. Dark old fashioned furniture. some kitchen cupboards needed a wipe and also quite dusty upstairs. unusual not to provide towels. woken in night by loud pipes. Also even just a small welcome gift helps. told to collect key from another house but couldn’t find anyone to start with and then turns out key was inside the cottage - the door was just stiff to open. It would also be nice to have a newer bench or 2 to sit outside. very old rickety picnic bench only place to sit.

Summary: It was fine and it is a beautiful area. Just a bit more thought needed to improve the cottage.
