Positive: Great pool area, fresh bread for a great price every morning, lots of wine offerings

Negative: Some bungalows are very far away from the main building and pool. The wifi didn’t reach to the Bungalow I stayed in.

Summary: Great place to unwind and unplug from the world. Would recommend to others for sure.

Positive: Bottle of white wine in fridge was really nice gift. Wine is tasty and if you want you can buy it local shop. Also there was interesting wine degustation, try it.

Positive: Location - very comfortable if you drive from Italy to Croatia, super friendly staff, you live next to the grape in a very comfortable area - looks like they have thought about all that you may need (pool, washing, camping) We were super happy until the dinner…

Negative: Never take degustation diner menu with wine paring that is offered by Saksida - the price is 88€ for 2,5 hours of absolutely nothing (( we were very disappointed of the menu and wine quality - most of servings simply nothing (it doesn’t cost that money the cost of a dinner looks like 12-15€) and dinner service is so poor - everything looks like super commercial product - not about taste or food tasting ((( wine is very simple and even staff never try it and only may say a few learned words about it taste we expected from the winery restaurant much more. I understand that it is family business and they earn money - was so sad that after such a good impression from the place we faced that “dinner” ((

Positive: - The staff at the 7 course dinner was very helpful and (child) friendly. I have had better meals at this price point, to be honest, but the dinner experience was nice. - The bungalows are modern. Bathrooms and kitchen were cleaned well.

Negative: - Advertisement somewhat misleading: Photos as posted do not (any longer?) reflect reality of the site. The photos show a small scale, boutique resort with 4 bungalows in the middle of wine fields. Reality is that you are on a campsite with 50+ places for tents and campervans. It is not as private as you may expect from the pictures, and what we expected until we arrived. To be fair: we had no issues from noise. The small pool however, is shared with a lot more people then one may expect from the photos. I would strongly encourage management to update to photos that more accurately reflect the setting. - Response to a hygiene issue: Bedlinen of one bed was dirty, with stains that would've been noticeable when making up the beds. After asking for replacement, no apology, and instead of replacing the bedlinen, a bag of bedlinen was placed outside our door, for us to put on the beds ourselves. - No storage space: The bungalow was small, which we were aware of from the photos and booking, however there was no place to open suitcases or store clothes. - Policies: are not guest-friendly and just for staff/owner convenience in my opinion: the pool is open from 9:30 to 19:00 which is limited (and in summer it can get hot in this part of Slovenia). I can imagine this is done because of noise, but this is also a consequence of a management choice to build campsites and bungalows right next to a heavily used pool. Dinner is only served as 7 course and from 19:00 until late (22:00+). Which is for the many Dutch children on the campsite, really really late. Check out is at 9:30 which is the earliest I have ever seen, and there is a sign in the room threatening additional costs for late check out. - Price point: This was our most expensive, yet least preferred, accommodation of our trip to Slovenia. We stayed in accommodation (including prime areas like Bohinj) with comparable facilities, yet of a larger size, and/or nicer setting, for 10%-15% less.
