Positive: It was a lovely setting with lots of space to enjoy separate activities as well as shared activities. Exceptionally hosted and very easy drives to everything.

Negative: Nothing. It was great.

Summary: Very relaxing base to allow one kid to take an online course and explore Aberdeenshire and also get lots of great sleep!

Positive: Location is fantastic...surrounded by fields.The cottage itself has beautiful well kept gardens. Shopping is only 8 minutes by car...there is a retail park in portlethen with an Aldi & Asda supermarket and Asda fuel station. Aberdeen is only 20 minutes away.

Positive: Lovely 3 bedroom bungalow in a good location. Superbly appointed and in excellent condition. A real home from home place to stay for a relaxing week away, set in beautiful well kept gardens and surroundings. We were met by Ron and Alison the hosts, they were very helpful but not intrusive.

Negative: There was nothing not to like, it very clean and tidy, very well appointed and in excellent order

Positive: We loved this cottage. It was so peaceful yet only a short drive to Stonehaven, Portlethen and Aberdeen. The owners were so welcoming and left us a lovely welcome pack. The cottage was spotlessly clean and had everything you could need for your stay. There was plenty of space for the four of us to spread out to enjoy the two comfortable lounges and the large modern kitchen. My grandson enjoyed being able to run around in the beautiful gardens. We would definitely recommend staying at Sauchenshaw.

Negative: We could not fault anything
