Summary: Check in quick, directions to local grocery store given. Property manger recommended a local picnic venue which was excellent and booked us into a wine tour and tasting that was lovely.

Summary: Spacious and easy walk to the center, restaurant.and groceries nearby. Nice rustic feel. Homey. Stayed here 5 nights. The town itself has some nice restaurants and good amenities but pretty small- this location, however, makes for a great base for exploring the area.

Summary: We traveled with a 6 month old baby and had a really great stay at Sarna Residence. The house was charming, pretty surrounding and walking distance to San Quirico d'orcia, which we used a lot. Would love to come back.

Summary: Beautiful, charming inn, within short walking distance from the walled city. Suites are very spacious and cozy. Service, although limited, is very friendly and efficient. Gaia was a tremendous guide and made me feel like family, even though I was there for one night. Very recommended as a base for the Val D’Orcia/Montalcino region. Free and plentiful parking!

Summary: We had a great stay in a beautiful rustic barn-style building. It was spacious and comfortable and clean. Gaia's recommendations really made it special though - she recommended two amazing restaurants and organised us a fantastic complimentary wine tour.
