Positive: Everything was perfect! The lodge has everything you need, kitchen, fridge, bathroom, sofa, table, chairs. You can have dinner prepared by the host (it's amazing) or even cook something yourself! The view is astonishing, there are mountains and canyons everywhere you look, during night the sky is full of stars as there are not big cities nearby. The host will let you park your car in their house and take you to the lodge with their 4x4 truck.

Positive: This was one of the most beautiful and memorable experiences of our trip to Armenia. Staying here is much more than booking a cabin. It is a unique experience surrounded by nature, peace, and breathtaking mountain views. Everyone should experience a place like this at least once in their life. Artyom and his family are truly exceptional. Artyom, his wife, his mother, and his sister welcomed us with genuine kindness and made us feel like part of their family. They brought our dinner to the lodge, beautifully prepared everything, and their hospitality was simply outstanding. The homemade dinner and breakfast were delicious, fresh, and prepared with great care. Every detail showed how much they love what they do and how much they care about their guests. Thank you, Artyom, and your wonderful family, for making our stay so special. We will always remember your kindness and hope to visit you again one day.

Positive: Our stay at "Sapsan Lodge" was truly unforgettable. We stayed high in the mountains with the most breathtaking views we have ever experienced. Waking up surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery felt almost magical. It was the first time in our lives that we had such a unique and special experience. We also ordered dinner, and it was amazing to watch it being carefully delivered up the mountain to us – such a memorable moment! Everything about this place felt peaceful, authentic, and extraordinary. To everyone visiting Armenia – we sincerely recommend staying in this magical place. It is not just accommodation, but an experience and a memory that will stay with us for a lifetime.

Positive: It's an amazing remote location on a mountain top with remarkable views. However, guests need to be aware that (at the time of our booking, they are apparently looking to change this), the location is not as indicated on the map. At least during the winter months, the only reasonable way to get there is by a 45 min tractor ride which the hosts will organize for you, albeit at an extra cost which is also not indicated at the time of booking (which it really should be as you don't really have a choice). In the summer months, it could probably be done in about 2-3 hours by foot for those who are fit for a nice hike and have good shoes, or even by 4x4 depending on the condition of the road. This information glitch set aside, the host family makes a great effort to make it a nice and enjoyable experience for their guests. If you don't want to bring your own food, they offer to serve breakfast and dinner as well.
Negative: As we booked rather short notice, we didn't receive the necessary information about the location and the transfer logistics on time. We recommend other guests to book in advance, and also for the hosts to set the booking conditions so that bookings cannot be made the same day (unless they can respond immediately when a booking is made). Fornimprovement of comfort, there should be curtains to regulate the light at night, and a proper bed instead of just a mattress on the floor.

Positive: Everything!!! ❤️ Please, Don’t hesitate:) If you are looking for unique experience just do it… in the middle of nature (no people around) with extraordinary view… you will let your car in owner private house and he will drive you there with Lada Niva thru the mountains (just the way there is fascinating) You can have a calm dinner on the terrace with sun set watching and breakfast with sun rice… only 20 minutes walk to the church and ruins… just you and nature around…

Positive: The cottage is located high in the mountains, where it's just you. You can go for walks in the area and enjoy the peace and quiet. The owners are very nice, kind and helpful. We can also recommend dinner and breakfast, expect an incredible amount of food. This is not only a place to sleep, it's a wonderful experience that we will not forget. Thank you!

Positive: The house is truly charming, built in wood with large bay windows offering breathtaking views of the magnificent mountains. You immediately feel connected to the surrounding nature. A big thank you to the whole family for their warm welcome: to Artyom’s father, who drove us up in his 4x4, giving us an amazing experience on those winding roads, always with good humor and a smile; and to Artyom and his wife for the delicious dinner and the wonderful visit to Smbataberd. Positive: We have really enjoyed our stay in the Sapsan lodge. Spectacular views - both during the day and at night. Great facilities. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly. They made an armenian bbq for us which we had with delicious salads and sides. Some samogon has been drunk. It has been the highlight of our holidays in Armenia. Amazing experience! Thank you!
