Summary: Ignore the slightly perfunctory greeting at the ao po marina office - this place is incredible. We had a 2 bed pool villa and I think it will never be beaten in terms of view and comfort. My tips: 1. take a plug adapter (no international plug in room) 2. make sure you have cash as some restaurants/bars around the resort only take cash and the atm at the local shop is frequently out of order…. 3. It is easy to take a grab to the marina but the marina restricts grab pick ups in favour of their own taxis. We still got a grab to our next destination but had to walk out of the gate of the Marina The staff were the friendliest we have ever had and knew our names and the food and drink was nice and varied. The view from breakfast is wonderful.

Summary: I loved staying here. The ocean view was stunning from all parts of the hotel. 😍 Room was spacious and clean. Very comfortable, lots of privacy even on the balcony. If you have time between the check in/out time and your boat time, you can still chill on the beach, pool, and restaurants, which was cool. The hotel has their own beach access and even offer paddle boards and kayaks to rent for free. The restaurant has lots of comfortable seating next to and on the beach that you can use, even if you don’t want to order any food. The staff carry your luggage straight from the boat to your room and back so you never have to carry it around the hotel. So convenient! The restaurants are a little expensive. I wouldn’t really recommend the buffet dinner, it was pricey and the food wasn’t that good. We were surprised that for the price it didn’t include any free drinks, not even any water, juice, soda, etc. Overall such a beautiful, relaxing place and I would love to stay here again! Would be a great hotel for honeymooners.

Summary: We had three nights at this stunning hotel. It was very beautiful surroundings and extremely polite staff. Great pools. On the negative side was the waiting at the reception when ever we had a question or issue. Patience here is a must. There were two restaurants and we had a really great buffet at the beach restaurant. Best we have tried in Thailand. We wanted to go to the restaurant by the infinity pool (where we also had our rooms) but we had to find alternative as there was a dj playing extremely loud club music. This is also the restaurant for the breakfast. The view is amazing but the noise from the live morning entertainment (and the kids allowed to use their devices without head phones) turns was what thought to be peaceful morning dinings into a breakfast you just want to get over with. I think we will come back, but we will for sure have breakfast and dinner elsewhere - except for the amazing Saturday buffet.

Summary: The whole resort is beautiful. The rooms are excellent- attention to detail is outstanding. Staff couldn’t do enough for us. The infinity pool is quiet and relaxed with amazing views of the sunsets.

Summary: Amazing place, just spectacular. The 4 bedroom villa was enormous. The only downside to this resort is the food. All the restaurants have exactly the same menu. Just a bit average.

Summary: The location is great but the property is nothing like the pictures at some point it must have been an amazing place. Unfortunately the food was just ok which is really why the low score. If it would have been good at least it could make up for the rest.

The hand-carved wooden architecture is unlike anything I’ve ever seen — every beam, doorway, and sculpture tells a story. It’s not just accommodation; it’s an immersive experience in craftsmanship and design that left us genuinely speechless. We stayed in one of the large pool villas, and I can’t recommend it enough — it’s completely worth the upgrade. The views were stunning, the privacy unmatched, and the feeling of being in a luxurious forest sanctuary is unforgettable. Special thanks to Sarinna at check-in, who made our arrival so smooth and welcoming — her warmth set the tone for the entire stay and c,out The staff overall were outstanding, attentive without being intrusive, and genuinely kind. While the food was good, especially the fresh grill menu, it could be elevated a bit more. That said, the setting is so remarkable that food becomes a secondary concern — you’re too busy soaking in the beauty around you. There was one room service staff member who seemed consistently grumpy, but in a way it became a bit of a running joke for us — it added character to the place rather than taking anything away. From start to finish, the experience was flawless, deeply inspiring, and unlike any other. I left with a sense of awe and admiration for the incredible detail and effort put into every inch of the property.
