Positive: The space is ample and a luxury compared to so many spots I’ve stayed at in my travels. It had everything I needed plus food options galore in the neighborhood.

Negative: I was hoping for a bigger refrigerator but it ended up being plenty for what I needed.

Summary: A cozy, fun home away from home.

Negative: Lift is quite small for 2 people and luggage, I was on the 3rd floor but this did not cause me any issues

Positive: Accommodation was fine and met our expectation. The restaurant downstairs was quite good. It was close to the Metro and busses and supermarkets.

Negative: The area was not great. Compared to Madrid, this apartment was expensive and the apartment needs to be updated for the price.

Positive: The area was quite nice, very family oriented, lots of restaurants, near Sant Antoni Market, not too far from Las Ramblas/city center, fairly close to Sants Train Station and the Airport bus has a stop a couple of blocks away - overall a great location. The apartment was large and clean, with a full kitchen, separate bedroom, large living room and bathroom. The building and its' entrance were attractive, as was the street outside. While we had a few issues arranging a time to meet someone at the apartment to get the key, this was mainly due to some phone limitations on our side which the apartment hosts handled well. The WiFi, included in the cost, worked fine.

Negative: It was expensive. There were some items that while relatively minor in nature, should be corrected. For example, the shower has nowhere to put soap or shampoo, other than the shower floor - there is no towel hook near the shower, the only hooks are inconveniently located around the corner - there is not towel hook/rack next to the bathroom sink. The door to the outside "patio" area that contains the washer needs to be more secure.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at Sant Antoni Apartment and would certainly consider staying there again.

Positive: Great location near lots of eating places, walking distance to the centre. It was however quite noisy, due to the proximity to several bars and the recycling bins below the apartment. It is clean and very large, but not well laid out.

Negative: The apartment did not match the stylish photographs in the listing. Apart from the size, it was really basic budget accommodation marketed as luxury accommodation with a matching price tag. In particular, the bed sheets were the most worn out we have ever seen anywhere. Only two pillows were provided on the bed, with two spares in a cupboard but with no pillowcases. Several bath towels were provided but no hand towel or bath mat so the extra towels had to be used for this purpose. There was no soap dish in the shower - it's only a small issue but one that could easily be addressed. Washing liquid and sponges were provided in the 'welcome pack' but there was no plug in the sink so dishes couldn't be washed properly. The locking system was also terrifying - double turn key lock PLUS a 5 digit code. Meanwhile anyone could have entered the unit from the balcony doors which didn't close properly. We have stayed in over 50 hotels in Europe in the past few months and despite being clean this definitely rated as one of the worst, even more so for.also being the most expensive. We realise hotels in Barcelona are expensive, but we would have expected a little more luxury - and less worn sheets - for over €230 per night.
