Positive: Beautiful space & place to relax. Clean & comfortable one bedroom apartment with your own outdoor seating area. The grounds are peaceful & tranquil with a lovely cafe/ restaurant and an immaculate salt water pool. There's also a (seemingly brand new) sauna which heats to temperature within ten minutes or so at your request. Both your own area & the communal areas offer plenty of privacy with all the lovely plants & shrubs. A well thought out design. Plenty of tasty breakfast choices, both Western & Khmer from fresh fruit platters, omelettes, eggs with delicious homemade bacon or local homemade broths cooked by Tia. Freshly squeezed juices, teas, coffees, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages available. Water bottles are provided free of charge daily. Also there's an extensive menu on offer throughout the day. Everything we had was delicious. The location is situated outside of the beach area which suited us fine. We hired bicycles from town for most of our stay which was a great way to explore Kep including the local markets & national park which is well worth a visit & easy to cycle around. Spot the macaques & check out Led Zep cafe if you're at the national park. Tuk tuks are also easily available & cheap. You can book at Sansoucci reception. If you decide to eat out there's Deli's which i think is definitely worth checking out. A waterfront restaurant, great food, wine & a French Deli. Also the family run Khmer restaurant across from Delis named Captain Chims. Within walking distance of Sansoucci there's Surya Kep which also does great French (mainly vegetarian) food at a reasonable price. Lots of local cheaper options too. The owners/hosts at Sansoucci Kep, Volin & Jondy were absolutely amazing. Lovely people & attentive to all our needs. We felt like they became friends including Tia & the other staff. There are also four beautiful, adorable cats.

Positive: Great choice of breakfast. Clean pool and small play hut for toddlers. He staff is friendly and helps with bus tickets. Pool was really great with these temperatures.

Negative: The upstairs veranda needs a facelift. The bathroom is extremely small. The owner came across very distant and not interested in his guests.

Positive: The staff is very friendly and attentive. They even allowed us to check in earlier than scheduled, which we really appreciated. They were incredibly helpful, especially with renting scooters and suggesting things to do in the area. The hotel has a lovely pool and a sauna, and the surroundings are lush, green, and very peaceful. A true little haven of tranquility with a very bad internet connection.

Negative: The internet connection is advertised as 8.8 on Booking, but it really doesn’t work at all. We had an apartment, and even near the entrance by the reception, the connection was terrible. And we had local sim card (Cellcard), there was no signal in the apartment. If you’re a digital nomad, this is definitely not the place for you. If you don’t need internet, then it won’t be a problem. The best connection is by the pool, but even that isn’t always reliable. The bedding definitely needs to be replaced, it’s clearly past its prime. The apartments could use a refresh overall. I can’t speak for the bungalows, but the apartments need renovation. Also, if you choose an apartment with a kitchen, it’s likely because you want to cook, unfortunately, the kitchen is poorly equipped with very limited utensils. The bed is very uncomfortable, and the mattress should really be changed. As mentioned, the place needs a serious update. The bathroom is very small and narrow, especially compared to the size of the bedroom and kitchen. As for the outdoor furniture (table and chairs), it’s unusable... the chairs have holes in them. That too could use a proper refurbishment. The hotel is located quite far from the center of Kep. It’s easy to get there by scooter, but on foot, there’s not much around. You’ll definitely need some form of transportation.

Positive: Room was generous sized and good value for money. Even had a small kitchenette. Pool was good sized and good condition. Even had a sauna. Lots of choice for the breakfast. Lots of trees and shade on the property.

Negative: Breakfast options could be healthier. Little fruit, vegetables, yogurt, muesli, etc. Coffee /tea could be better. Bathroom was also really small. Resort was a bit far out from the center.

Summary: A pleasant, cool, quiet place to rest and relax. Good value for money.

Positive: We loved the pool and food. Staff was also incredibly friendly and helpful. I will recommend this place :)

Negative: We had small problem with bugs in our room, but staff came to clean and the rest of the stay was good.

Negative: The apartments with the kitchens were not well supplied. It’s always nice to have at least salt and pepper in the apartments and maybe a little oil. That is something that is very difficult for a traveler to be able to pack, and usually if I rent an apartment, I plan on cooking. There was not a sharp knife to cut with, and the one cooking pot that they had was too large.

Summary: The grounds were well kept, and the pool was amazing. All of the food I had was delicious.
