Positive: Beautiful, comfortable, warm and well equipped cottage in a stunning location right opposite the beach. Great views from upstairs and perfect for our dogs and my 6 year old granddaughter. The cottage is very spacious and has an amazing fireplace with a wood burner. Our much appreciated welcome pack consisted of a bottle of wine for my daughter and I and chocolates and sweets for my granddaughter. The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds comfortable and the bathroom has a choice of 2 showers over the bath! Great base for exploring Northumberland, with loads of places to visit right on the doorstep. We all loved our stay, we will be back!! 😊

Positive: The location of Sandy Knowes is perfect. Right by the sea for those long leisurely beach walks but close enough for a stroll into Amble. The area is nice and quiet. The House is wonderful, comfy and cozy and very well equipped. Walkers and cyclists can enjoy the coastal path and Low Hauxley Nature reserve is also just round the corner.

Negative: Having to leave!

Summary: A right Birthday treat. Didn't want to leave but can't wait to return.
