Positive: Lincoln and Rowena are the best hosts - available 24/7 . Very clean accomodation. They have car rental service which facilitated our stay . You NEED a car in Exuma . Location is great , close to all amenities and beautiful beaches . If you don’t want the luxury resorts , this is by far one of the few reasonable options in Exuma . Thanks for everything . Lincoln also drove us to the airport , and for this we’re so grateful.

Positive: The hosts Rowena and Lincoln are the most warming and friendly people we have met while travelling. They made sure that our time at the Exumas was completely relaxing by bringing us back and fourth to the airport, as well as to the convenience store. We not only liked the location in the middle of the island, close to both north and south points but also the easiness of having car rental on the spot. We loved every bit of our visit, and we will come back to this beautiful place not only for the amazing beaches but to again see our new friends Rowena and Lincoln!
Negative: There is nothing that we did not like about Sandy Bottom Cottages.
Summary: To summarize it shortly with two words: Absolutely outstanding!

Positive: Location was in a family neighborhood. Rowena and Lincoln were very responsive and friendly, and had so much information plus they knew everyone on the island! The pickup to and from the airport was top notch in a Mercedes suv and the on-site rental car was also very convenient (a car is very necessary to see all the sights in Exuma). There are a couple new cottages being built right on the beach (water pics are from these cottages). Our cottage was just up the road and inland from the beach cottages (pics of cottage are the ones we stayed in), but we did have access to the beautiful private beach and no one in site for miles. We had a small kitchen we cooked in with a full size fridge, freezer, microwave and toaster. Overall it was an amazing time and we would stay again.

Positive: Cute tiny house just a short walk to the beach. Hosts live on site and go above and beyond to ensure your stay is fabulous.
Negative: You will definitely need a rental car but no worries Rowena has rental cars on site that are much nicer than the ones you get at the airport.
