Summary: The room was clean. We appreciate being able to find a last minute place to stay at a reasonable price. Very convenient to local restaurants.

Summary: Parking was easy and secure. The bed was comfortable and made perfectly. Room. Felt crowded with big furniture. Rug needs a good shampoo

Summary: Kind of put off by the locked door to check in- had to ring the doorbell- made me concerned about the area but the room was fine

Summary: The motel is in desperate need of renovation inside and out. Our room was in poor condition and was missing furniture.. Even the window next to the door was cracked. The tub in the bathroom looked pretty nasty, but the hot water was surprisingly decent. The train rolls next to the building throughout the night, horn blaring. The bed was super springy and the pillows were very thin and flat. Overall, the room was clean enough, but we did regret booking here. Out of a 10 day Colorado road trip, this was the only room we considered going elsewhere, rather than staying.

Summary: I love how simple it was. We absolutely loved the service and how friendly everyone was. If we need a hotel in the future while we are there we will definitely return to sands motel.

Summary: The facilities are rundown and in poor condition. A MAJOR upgrade is needed if the Sands motel is going to continue to be a motel.

Summary: The room was clean. The bathtub/shower combo was in bad shape because the surface was worn badly. A security light above the outside walkway shined through the curtains all night. Not restful. No ice machine.
