Positive: Good open plan space. Underfloor heating in the bathroom was great.

Negative: Poor cleanliness on arrival. Shower temp wasn’t hot and needs repairing. Odd set up with no storage in the bedroom but clothes storage in the dining room. Cigarette butts and packets and dog poo not cleaned up from the previous visitors.

Negative: In need of a deep clean Cobwebs were bad in corners No hot water in the bathroom sink and it only dribbled !! Did message the owner no reply !! So we had to fill hot water in a jug in the kitchen sink and carry it to the bathroom not ideal !! It only needs a new valve ! Kettle wanted descaling or thrown away The table mats on the dining table were scruffy and looked stained The sofa was smelly and the throws and pillows But the bed fortunately was comfy No mirror or wardrobe in the bedroom or drawers they were in the dining room It a shame lovely bungalow in a lovely location it just been let go a bit Looks like the owners have no pride

Positive: The owners need a lesson in holiday management. We were greeted at the entrance by a damaged and recently overflowed drain. The gardens were unkempt. It was 4deg when we arrived and the two electric radiators were off. There was no complimentary wood for the solid fuel burner as stated so we were very cold for 24 hours. There were no bins or receptacles for recycling at all?? The basin tap in the bathroom only trickled water, and just COLD water. The location was excellent but we certainly would not book or recommend this holiday home.
