A spacious, comfortable holiday home located in a beachy Adelaide suburb.
Our home offers a perfect getaway for couples, large families and groups.
Beachside suburb still conveniently nearby to the city (25 mins)
Full heating and air conditioning making our home perfect all year round.
The Space:
Fully furnished 2 story 4 bedroom 3 bathroom architect designed house with beach and hills views and space.
It is fully self contained with a full kitchen and laundry facilities.
Fully air conditioned. Solar power.
Sandrift has 4 bedrooms-Two Large bedrooms each with a Queen bed and bedrooms 3 and 4 each with 2 single beds.
Large upstairs living area and kitchen.
One bedroom has an ensuite and the bedroom is large enough to have a parent retreat area. It also has a tv and DVD and 2 sitting chairs for a "retreat".
Sandrift has 3 outdoor areas-a balcony upstairs at the front with hills and sea views and one on the upper level at the rear and one downstairs, all are undercover.
Car parking on site for cars.
It is a one minute walk to the beach!
It is close to Largs Bay, Semaphore, Port Adelaide and West Lakes.
Semaphore has seen a remarkable transformation over the past few years. It has a good range of shops including clothing, gifts and an eclectic range of food places.
Largs Bay, Jetty Road also has some evolving and interesting shops such a Queenies, The Pier Hotel or Jetty Kiosk (and in season the Sailing Club) at which to eat
It is a 25-30 minute drive to Adelaide city.

Summary: I’m so torn to write this review but this was not worth the money we spent on this house. One of the bedrooms was infested with baby spiders, even between the sheets, hundreds of them. This rendered the room unusable for three days. They sent housekeeper to spray an over the counter pesticide. I ended up spraying the outside patio and window to help the problem. Also, be prepared, only 1 towel per person. Too bad if you want to wash your hair. There are 3 patios of which all were dirty, we only used one and had to wipe down the table and chairs….really!! The floors were all dirty and your feet were black if you walked around barefooted and the bathrooms stunk. As far as household supplies, 1 dishwasher tablet and 3 sheets of paper towels. The stove top did not light, nothing to light it with manually, all the markings on the stove top were worn off. Oh, and I was told that this was Australia and we have insects here. I’m an expat, raised in Adelaide. They did drop off paper towels, dishwasher tablets and a box of matches after two requests. Being so close to the beach you would think they would have some beach towels, think again, no!!We were told if we didn’t have to stay we could leave, knowing full well there were no other rentals in the area. We flew from Los Angeles to visit family and had no other choice but to stay. Thankfully my brother who lives in Adelaide supplied us with extra towels and pillows.

Summary: Groomsmen’s staying before and after the wedding. Perfect for staying because the wedding was at the cruising yacht club. The only thing I would say is to take extra toilet paper. With 4 toilets it can go fast.

Summary: Great House for a group of adults. Showers are amazing. Location is terrific not busy with tourists but has everything you need or want. Semaphore is gorgeous, local pub is terrific. Neighbourhood is quiet. Only let down was the Weather and cant blame stayz for that. Would stay again
