Positive: The staff was adorable. Very helpful notably with the boats to get to the island end of October. The hotel is chic and cosy at the same time. The food is excellent : we had breakfast twice and diner twice ; Each time it was perfect. We loved our stay there.

Positive: Very comfortable Sauna in room! Delicious perfectly cooked fish for dinner

Negative: No black breakfast type tea! Neither in room nor at breakfast. I do not expect to bring my own T bags to such an establishment. It seems none was to be had, and staff looked surprised even unbelieving that roobois, raspberry or earl grey would not do. I found some in the local (only) shop 100m away and the local cafe had some. I bought some for the hotel as a present. Details count I also do not like music in dining area.

Summary: Luxury on a beautiful island, I was there at the end of season, I can imagine it’s packed in season

Positive: Superb location, restaurant was good and the staff were extremely nice.

Negative: Overall this hotel is extremely overpriced…the spa was in a relatively poor condition, rooms feel somewhat basic considering they’ve been recently refurbished (no fridge or safe which seems odd), the grounds of the hotel were quite messy and our terrace view was surrounded by used delivery palettes, linen carts and ill kept walk routes.

Summary: Stunning location, unfortunately thats where the value for money ends.
