Positive: Welcoming staff Nice breakfast area Nice seating outside Easy access to town and ferry.
Negative: Very expensive Ground floor room overlooking noisy recycling area at back of bar/restaurant. The windows were being replaced on one of the days we were there which was very noisy. Unpleasant to make use of outdoor terrace. The swimming pool - not good for swimming, more a play area for kids to run around in.

Positive: The location is fantastic. The staff are friendly and helpful. It feels welcoming. The room was great and had a side view of the water. The terrace was an amazing spot for sundowners. We ate dinner in the restaurant once and it was really delicious with friendly service. The breakfast spread was superb. The pool and jacuzzi were nice. We mentioned that one of our clothes hooks was loose and the handyman came round quickly to fix it.
Negative: Our beds weren’t made (by anyone other than ourselves) during our 3 night stay. Housekeeping did call when I’d got back from bfast our 1st morning, but then didn’t come back when we’d been out for a few hours after that. A different staff member did return early evening to change our towels and offer us fresh water, which was appreciated. Nobody came at all on the 2nd day though, which was strange, as we were out for most of the day. To be fair, we didn’t follow it up on the day. The gym was looking rather ‘tired’ e.g. leather top of weights bench all torn.

Negative: The room was super uncomfortable, like a sauna. The window could not be open. The restaurant and service was average and did definitely not match the price.
