Summary: Our stay was amazing. The staff were friendly and very responsive. The rooms were beautiful and literally right on the sand. The tension to detail was pretty impressive. Personalized bowls for our dogs and assign that welcomed our dogs as we entered the lobby. The lobby by the way is very beautiful on the outside area next to the lobby is also equally as beautiful, lots of places to sit and relax next to fire pits and fireplaces. Cute boutique type shopping is also available in the lobby.The rugs in the room were a little bit worn, which was the only reason I didn’t give it a perfect score. Also, the restaurant that we had dinner out for my husband‘s birthday was an epic fail. it took over an hour just to get our appetizers which was steamed clams. One of the clams was completely rotten and bad once we finally got our entrées. They were just OK. I got a crab pasta, but I ate the crab out of them left the rest service was very slow, but friendly. It was very disappointing considering the prices were very high. We did have brunch there earlier and brunch was amazing so I’m not sure what happened with the dinner service. Definitely was not worth the money and kind of put a bad taste on the end of our stay. Everything else was great though.

Summary: We tried an early check in to take luggage from the car before going for a hike and were told we’d be best to leave our bags in the car as our room wasn’t ready (about 1.5 hours early) - which didn’t seem ideal. However, once returning to the hotel from the hike, official check in was great, room was superb, explanation by the staff on all room and resort facilities was excellent. Resort staff seemed intent on making sure all guests were catered for and relaxed. Would definitely return to this resort.
