Positive: The location is idillic. The hotel built on the side of a cliff gave its such beautiful views. The gardens are well kept and full of flowers, the gardeners most morning are making sure every walk way is pristine. Breakfast in the morning is fantastic. The staff at the hotel were really lovely and wanted us to have the best stay. Sadly we were really late to our friends event the next bay along and the taxis are a nightmare to get with 2 not turning up, the hotel owner/son could see we were stressed and ended up taking us in his own car. Amazing service, a family owned hotel that really cares for their guests. We will be back!!

Negative: Taxi’s - Taxi drivers in Corfu as a whole are a nightmare. If you can avoid them do. We wish we knew earlier that ‘George’s boats’ (+30 6944521632) or ‘Dinos’(+30 694 447 2007)will do pick ups and drop off for dinners in other bays around €10-€20 per person Pool towels - very small thing but the pool bar boys are very protective over their towels. The main thing is they only let you have one towel per person and are to the side of the bar, we felt like we were told off when collecting ourself.

Positive: Great location, great breakfast, great views, very nicely kept and landscaped property requiring a lot of hiking up and down the hill, which is exhausting, but healthy! The staff was overall very friendly and presented me with a birthday surprise in my room, which was really thoughtful!

Negative: I love sleeping with the windows open, but the got woken up every morning by cleaning staff watering and sweeping the paths around the room, which is great that there’s so nicely kept, but it was quite noisy… I think other people weren’t bothered by this cause I noticed they slept with the doors closed and the AC on.Another thing I didn’t like so much was the gym. I think it’s a pity that the outdoor terrace is not shaded so that one can work out also outside. another thing I didn’t like so much was the gym. Negative: The exhilarating journeys through the hotel to get to the room. Lack of a private beach - you have to pay 30 euros per pair so you can stay at the beach in the front of the resort.

Summary: I will definitely recommend it. We felt wonderful.

Positive: Breathtaking location, perfect bay with a handful of restaurants, bars and shops with boat hire & boat taxis to fantastic restaurants. The sea is clear and calm & beautiful for a swim before breakfast.

Negative: Not much although quite steep climb to lifts for room access if you have mobility issues.

Summary: Idyllic. Will miss the view & starting in the beach until 7pm drinking Rose & playing cards.

Positive: Beautiful views from the balcony, reminds me of the Italian coast. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool deck is incredible with great drink service and fantastic views of the beach and water. Very relaxing experience, food at the buffet was pretty good, and the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.
