Positive: Location is great with beach access right in front. Lovely white sand and good swimming when the tide is in. Food was good at the restaurant and there are other options up and down the beach too. Monkeys and lizards can be found if you look closely (monkeys were amazing).

Negative: Family rooms are very basic, but we did not spend much time there other than to sleep. I suggest a normal top sheet would be a good addition, otherwise it can be difficult to sleep with no sheet on.

Summary: Very nice island, basic amenities.

Positive: The air conditioning in the room is cold enough, and there are hot and cold filtered water dispensers machine in the cafeteria for free drinking.

Negative: It's a 7-minute walk from the pier to the resort. The staff at the activity center were constantly smoking, causing the restaurant area to be filled with smoke, even though there were "No Smoking" signs posted there! We go to the beach to enjoy fresh air, not to have our health harmed by smoking! There is a very large cockroach in my room. The mattress was so soft that it was practically unusable. I asked for a replacement, and they did, which made it a little better.

Positive: Cafe/restaurant was really yum and good prices for the island Friendly staff Can book tours/water taxis at reception Clean bathrooms Ferry drops you on the jetty a 2 min walk along the beach

Negative: Weird smell in the room - maybe because it was a fan only room. Was fine if we left the windows open to air out for a while Cold water only in the shower
