Positive: Cafe/restaurant was really yum and good prices for the island Friendly staff Can book tours/water taxis at reception Clean bathrooms Ferry drops you on the jetty a 2 min walk along the beach

Negative: Weird smell in the room - maybe because it was a fan only room. Was fine if we left the windows open to air out for a while Cold water only in the shower

Negative: The Chalet is pretty old. When theres tide, water is pretty flat what makes it hard to swim, even 100 m in the water.

Positive: Place is beachfront even if our cottage was slightly in the back garden. Owner is very friendly and helpful and also nice was the staff. Place is very clean. Small shop next door. Very good laundry service , they wash by hand but you get your clothes back impeccably clean.We got the family cottage in the garden because we were two adults and one kid. If we were two we would have chosen beachfront

Negative: Even if the property is beachfront you are basically stuck on this side of the island with a few restaurants and bars to choose from. Only one (B first)serves alcohol, in reality they let people buy alcohol from the bar next door and this brings them a ton of customers. We took a couple of times the water taxi(expensive if you take it often) to turtle beach and that was an amazingly beautiful clear blue turquoise transparent water beach, very recommended but don't forget to bring water and food as it's isolated. Everything on the island is in my opinion overpriced compared to Malaysia mainland and accomodation is just one of them

Negative: One staff member - water taxi driver/kayak hire - was aggressive and adversarial. Everyone else was lovely.
