Positive: We had an excellent overall experience, the hosts were really nice and helpful, prepared a fresh and delicious breakfast with a wide variety of foods. The apartment is well equipped, having all sorts of appliances (useful if you travel with family / pets), and in general looking really nice and cosy. The village and the surroundings is really quiet and peaceful, providing a nice opportunity for evening walks.

Negative: The stairs to the bedroom might be a bit hard to climb for the elderly (or if you have smaller dogs). For me the bed wasn't the best, and we could use a bit more storage room for clothes in the bedroom. But overall, nothing serious.

Summary: Greats hosts, really nice and well equipped apartment, quiet and calm neighborhood

Positive: We liked everything about the cottage. The location is excellent, close to Roermond but also very peaceful. The cottage itself is very comfortable and well stocked/maintained. A great place to start a walk through the fields and forest. The owners are very kind and give you your privacy as well.
