Positive: Our stay at Salty Wave Suites was lovely in every way. We were greeted on arrival by Marilena and shown to our room which had the most incredible sea view. The rooms each have a large balcony with a jacuzzi. Having a jacuzzi overlooking the sea was very special. The room was well equipped, comfortable and clean. The rooms were cleaned each day and Marilena was happy to give us recommendations for places to eat and the beaches on the island. Breakfast was in the restaurant downstairs and prepared fresh each day. The hotel is right by bus stop 6 meaning you can easily travel around the island. The walk into Skiathos Town is around 20-30 minutes which we were happy to do and enjoyed but getting the bus is also very easy. The hotel is also very close to Megali Amos beach where there are some lovely restaurants and tavernas. We would 100% recommend Salty Wave Suites and hope to visit the hotel again.

Positive: Loved the accommodation. Newly renovated, lovely spa.

Negative: Location was a little out of centre so without a car it meant we couldn't easily pop back to room if needed. Not a huge negative but I would have liked to be closer after visiting this area.

Summary: Modern, clean accommodation which was very comfortable to stay in.

Positive: Spacious and tidy rooms with good facilities, and excellent location to travel the island.

Negative: Some issues with the facilities and staff service. Also intermittent noise from restaurant (early morning and late at night) and other guests, and lack of hot water on some days. We would advise other guests to book without breakfast included as not good value for money - breakfast was one item and drink from a limited range at a local cafe. Overall a nice stay and the location made up for the issues we experienced.

Positive: We were warmly welcomed by our hosts Dionysis and Alex, and given plenty of very helpful information about our island stay. The location was excellent as it was on the bus route (stop 4) either to Skiathos Town (5 minutes) or to many of the lovely beaches in that area. The rooms are well described as 'suites', as they are very comfortable each with a lovely balcony, and within two minutes walk to the connected restaurant with welcoming hosts and great food. We also dined at the family owned restaurant 'Paraxenos' in Skiathos Town, which was also very welcoming with lovely home-cooked food. We hired a car for a few days, which was organised by our host and gave us the chance to see more of the island including the only vineyard, also worth a visit. We would highly recommend Salty Wave Suites!

Positive: Absolutely loved Salty Wave, run by the nicest family. Room finish is of a very high standard , something you would expect in a ultra modern hotel. Breakfast was delicious every day. We would definately recommend and will be back.

Positive: Beautiful view. Great location - just by the bus stop so really easy to get to and back from the town ( great bus service). Lovely swimmable beach across the road. The owners and staff were great.

Positive: Excellent apartment! 👌The best sea view I could have imagined! It seemed I had the sea and the sun just in my hand!🌞 Very new, stylish and equipped with high quality toaletries. Staff, very kind and helpful! The hot tub on the terrace made our stay very very romantic!❤️ Highly recommended!
