Positive: It was a very nice house and the price was fair

Negative: The kitchen was a little disorganized and the fridge front and pulls needed to be cleaned. My mom's bedroom appeared, possibly,not to have been changed.

Positive: Nice view out through the grasslands and the faraway ocean. Nice living room. Basement rec room was useful. Adequate kitchen. Location was fine, being close to Long Beach.

Negative: No light on the outside stairs going up to the main door. They're very skinny and dangerous in the dark. Door to the basement gets in the way of walking when it's open. Main floor bedroom door was tough to close and very noisy in the middle of the night. Any movement upstairs made the main floor ceiling creak very loudly and would actually wake up folks in the main floor bedroom. Gas fireplace didn't work when we got there, however after we called about it, it was fixed.

Summary: It was okay, but we wouldn't book it again.

Positive: Comfortable accommodations for three couples. Very clean. We thought the property would be closer to the beach, but understand the location of the house given effects of King Tides in the winter.

Negative: Screen doors need repair. It would be good to have window blinds in the main siting area to block afternoon sun.

Summary: House very clean and confortable. Well-equipped kitchen. Overall, accommodations are a little dated

Positive: Nice and secluded with access path to beach. Clean and well provisioned.

Negative: Didn't expect three levels, sunken entrance, sunken family room. No blinds on coast facing windows and doors. Some doors would not latch properly and many screens need replaced. Windows viewing the deck and beach area were filthy. Not recommended for seniors, people with walking or vision issues or small to medium dogs.

Positive: Loved the location. The property was well equipped and spacious.

Negative: The heating units were very noisy and would keep the downstairs person from sleeping at night. The couch was not very comfortable. Loved the windows but the sun shining through them was so bright that it was hard on the eyes.

Summary: Overall we enjoyed our stay very much. Loved that the kitchen was so well stocked.

Positive: Secluded location with great views of the ocean. Lots of towels and toiletries in the bathrooms. Plenty of board games and kites to keep the kids entertained. Great wrap around deck.

Negative: Gas grill provided was filthy. Looked like it had never been cleaned. Paper thin single ply toilet paper. A nice place should have something better.

Summary: Great secluded house with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the ocean.
