Positive: This property is gorgeous and immaculate. We were so impressed by the entire setup!

Negative: One downside for us was the lack of blackout or blinds for the sunlight and side window. This meant a very early wake up call in the middle of summer.

Summary: Beautiful and relaxing! A great experience overall.

Positive: Breakfast was fabulous. Setting was lovely. Views of Mt. Hood breathtaking. Rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. The sparkling pear soda was memorable. Staff were great.

Negative: There really wasn’t anything.

Summary: We would be happy to stay there again.

Positive: Oh my goodness, this place is magnificent. Sakura Ridge is a destination in itself. The views of Mt Hood are unmatched, from someone who has lived in Portland for almost 30 years. The farm is peaceful and quiet and lovely, the Japanese design touches are a delight. The breakfast was delicious, and all the charms of Hood River are a short 15 min drive away, and countless dramatic hikes within an hour. It was a perfect romantic getaway for my wife and I, can't wait to be back.

Negative: The downstairs rooms were pretty chilly in summer. They do have a heater in the room to help with this.

Positive: The property and view are magical, and everything in the lodge is topnotch. Incredibly comfy bed with the best linens, pillows, blankets, and the heated toilet seat is the icing on the cake.

Negative: Difficult to get luggage to room.
