The island with the iconic, ocher yellow cabins in the middle of the Reine fjord, The island have been in the care of the Gylseth family for many generations. Pictured in countless commercials, postcards, tv shows and films, this is a destination that you will not easily forget. We offer several accomodation options in our buildings dating back to the 18th century, from full size fishermen's cabins to rooms and apartments. Units with sea view overlook the Sakrisøy harbor. All our units have high speed internet, private bathrooms and fully equipped kitchenettes. Free parking are available on site for all our guests. Our neighbors on the island include Underhuset restaurant, Anitas seafood market and restaurant, Reine Adventure activity center and a local antique store (all of whom have their own seasonal opening hours). Many more restaurants, shops and the start of the Reinebringen hike are located a short drive away. The local bus stop are located a short walk from the entry to the island (Olenilsøya). Leknes airport are approximately 31 miles by car and the ferry dock to Bodø are approximately 6.2 miles from us.

Positive: Best one in Lofoten. Very close and walking distance to main bridges and activities. Coop is just 15 mins walk. Bus stop is 2 mins. Robuer was very cute and very relaxing with all facilities. Host was very helpful.

Positive: This place is a jewel ! The rorbuer has been kept traditional, with all the détails inside (wooden structure etc) while being very comfortable, cozy and warm. The atmosphere is unique and this is for sure my favourite in the Lofoten !

Positive: Location is great. It is serene and ttanquil. My cabin is just by the water, could hear the sounds of waves at night. I feel that I own the sea in front of you. So Romantic ! What a great contrast with the neighboring popular Red Rorbuers that are always featured in YouTube . I see traffic jam outside their road entrance, and heap of tourists arriving in huge tour buses. Anita seafood restaurant owned by the same Sakrisoy management is just opposite the property. They even sell some raw seafood - like a mini fish market. Cabin is very clean and spacious. Kitchen well equipped. Bed comfortable. Room temp control is good. There is no extra frills like big chain hotel room, but I like the organic basic essential approach. Feeling very homely. Owner/Manager Ms Linn is super approachable. She even shows me some favorite hike to the hills, and attractions around. There is a Mexican restaurant in the property compound, Tomas and family run the place. Food is authentic, wine is good. Must try. I Love Sakrisøy Rorbuer. Have been missing the place since.

Negative: There is a pier next to the water. But I can’t really used it because if I jump into the water, I have difficult climb back into the floating platform. Simply fix—just add some wooden ladders.
