Summary: The bed was comfortable, the room and the hotel in general really clean, good position (with a 5 minutes walk you can reach the main street with bars, resaturants, markets, banks and atm), staff really friendly and helpful, you can also have the best capirinha in town at the bar at the ground floor. Absolutely recommended!!!

Summary: We've just returned home from Cape Verde and this little B&B was just fine. I can see why it might not be for everyone but it had all we needed and couldn't have asked for nicer hosts. We were the only guests for the majority of the week and so it was quiet but I imagine it would be on the noisy side when full. The rooms are basic, there's no air conditioning but at this time of year (April) it's not really needed. Breakfast is simple and could do with some variety. It'll be a long time before I can face yoghurt again... I would say it's more for the younger traveller rather than holidaymakers. However it's very relaxed and comfortable enough. You get to see Cape Verde life from your balcony. There's a gorgeous restaurant a 3 minute walk away which serves the most amazing tuna steak ever! Very much an undiscovered gem. Cape Verde is all about no stress and this place definitely lived up to that ethos.

Summary: Simon and Sara were amazing hosts, always with a smile they were happy to dish out advice of what to do and what to see as well as restaurant recommendations. Sakaroule is a gorgeously bright and quirky shaped building, so easy to find! 3 min walk from the beach and into Santa Maria where there are plenty of places to eat and drink. The room was lovely and cool with our own balcony and our ensuite was really clean with a great shower. We wish we were coming back asap! Thank you Simon and Sara for a wonderful stay

Summary: Very nice and welcoming staff, pleasant decoration and clean room, breakfast was simple but OK. Awsome people in SAL. Perfect spot to learn and practice kitesurfing or scubadiving, we also enjoyed trips in Catamaran, Quad and Electrical bike. Cool nigthlife in Santa-Maria street party on Fridays and Sautrdays. Good local restaurants and food in the street. Good weather! Perfect stay for us.
