Summary: This is a fantastic location and meticulously maintained property. Pierre & Anne Marie are generous hosts, their home is tastefully curated and contains everything you could want and more. We enjoyed swimming, paddle-boarding and cycling around the lake, hiking in the mountains and shopping in Annecy & Geneva. This is a great location for a relaxing family holiday.

Summary: We all loved our time at Pierre and Anne Marie's home. Everything was perfect and it was a welcome retreat at the end of each day. The house had the right amount of shade and sunshine with exquisite views of the lake. A most enjoyable vacation.

Summary: We have just come back from a wonderful holiday in Saint Jorioz, near Lake Annecy. The house was immaculately presented, the garden bursting with colours, and the views extraordinary. The owners made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The house had everything we needed for our family (including a child of 4 years of age and our old Labrador). The location was perfect for us, 700m above sea level and a little out of the main track; as we were seeking a calm and private retreat. Yet, in 6 minutes you could drive to St Jorioz, for the main amenities you would need, and in 15 minutes you would be in Annecy town, a wonderful place with plenty sporting opportunities on offer. The views were as impressive at the start as on our last day, and we wished we could have stayed longer. One small hinderance were the flies that came with the cattle pasturing opposite the house at circa 200 yards, but they diminished as the cattle was moved further afield. We would recommend this property to those seeking privacy above all, stunning views of mountains and lake, as well as a comfortable and homely stay.

Summary: This house is perfect, the views are breathtaking and the area has something for everyone. The house and facilities are first class and spotless, the owners are so helpful and have thought of everything. We had the most amazing holiday and cannot recommend the area or the house enough. We will definitely be back.

Summary: "We really enjoyed our week at Pierre and Anne-Marie''s house above the lake. The weather was wetter than expected, therefore we spent quite a lot of time in the house. The environment and the view of the lake were even better than seen on the pictures, whether enjoyed from inside the house or from the garden. Having dinner on the terrace in front of the lake view was perfect. The house is spacious with many different living areas on the ground floor, very well appointed, with top quality appliances. You can really see that this is not a house designed for rental with sparse and lower cost furniture and appliances but the owner''s house. Pierre and Anne-Marie are a pleasure to deal with, and were very responsive if we needed anything. Again, thank you for a great stay, and we hope to sometimes come back and enjoy it again!"

The G family are lovely considerate and welcoming hosts who went to great lengths to make sure we enjoyed our holiday - providing brochures etc by post before we went - and that level of thoughtfulness continued during and after our stay."

Summary: "If you are looking for a beautiful rental in the Annecy lake region, look no further. Not only are the views breath-taking and the house wonderfully designed and decorated, but Pierre & Anne Marie (the owners of the house) are two of the most charming people you will ever meet. They took such care to leave us the house with plenty of closet space, clean linens, basic food supplies, maps & instructions and anything we could possibly need. Pierre spent time making sure we were connected to the wireless internet and Anne Marie showed us the workings of each appliance we could need. They were thoughtful and lovely, and my only regret is that we did not have a chance to see them again before we left. Rent this house without a single worry! Every morning when you wake up to the spectacular lake view, and you come downstairs to hear the sound of cow bells, and you take your morning coffee while strolling the patio, you'll wonder why you too don't move to Saint Jorioz!"
