Positive: Most authentic place and Saida is attentive and a great host. The house is a traditional berber household, where you meet the whole family, tradition, home cooking and feel welecome at all times. You can also take cooking classes and learn how to make local food.
Negative: All was good.
Summary: Exceptional and authentic, above all expectations.

Positive: A genuinely authentic homestay in a beautiful area, with a lovely traditional building and a wide range of activities. Saida is an inspiring host, and her work supporting local women and creating opportunities in the community is particularly admirable. A very different experience from a standard hotel.
Negative: Cleanliness and maintenance could be improved. One room had spider webs and broken air conditioning, while the other had a partially functioning toilet. There was little comfortable outdoor seating, and significant construction was taking place during our stay in September 2026 without prior warning. The food prices were also at the higher end of what we paid in Morocco, without quite matching the quality. Overall, we really like the concept and Saida’s work, but felt the value for money could be better.
Summary: Authentic experience, but room for improvement

Positive: This beautiful place provides all the body and soul needs. Completely stunning location. Great food. Lovely, lovely staff and host. The accommodation is not luxurious. It's relatively basic, but that adds to the charm of the place.
Negative: There is nothing I did not like about this place.

Positive: Saida is a real powerhouse. We were very impressed by her story and felt very welcome. The walk to the village was beautiful and fascinating, it felt like stepping back in time. The food was amazing and we LOVED the bread and the olive oil. Everything was well organized, taxi, workshops, contact. Thanks a lot we recommend everybody to come here, have the best time AND support the community.

Positive: Meeting Saida was the highlight of our stay ~ the place is of course enchanting, but the warm hospitality, delicious food and stories from this incredible woman Saida was the highlight, not just of our stay, but of our entire trip in Morocco. Imagine waking up in the mountains, walking down through grape vines and fig trees to find a cozy spot amongst the wild nature to start your day, with the best homemade tea and lovingly prepared breakfast… then the day can be spent enjoying the surroundings, or immersing into a cooking class which was such a fun experience. It was the best tajine I ever tried. I can’t say enough good things about this place ~ a unique, traditional and beautiful experience. You must go there for yourself!
Negative: Nothing!

Positive: Stayed with Saida after a grueling trip over the Tizi n Test. Arrived pretty late due to the road conditions but even still Saida welcomed us with open arms and made us dinner. The house doesn't look like much from the outside but once you go through the front door it feels like a hidden oasis...incredible 😍 This is a really unique place to stay. We were the only guests and it really did feel like you had gone off the beaten track to stay with this lovely welcoming Berber family. If you want to do something different and have a sense of adventure then this is the place for you. It's not by any means a 5 star hotel but it's warm and welcoming and even has air con. We would love to have done the trek to the Berber village but the heat was up on 45c so for 3 Irish men this wasn't for us lol. Thank you Saida for welcoming us into your home and hope you get the visa to travel Europe soon. Best wishes from Gary, Tony and Damo ❤️
Negative: Nothing.... It was perfect 👌

Positive: Saida's house is a wonderful addition to any itinerary for those seeking an authentic experience of life on a Berber farm. As someone who lives in the city, I found it refreshing and fun to stay in a place surrounded by animals and beautiful herb and vegetable gardens. We also went on a scenic hike to a nearby Berber village, guided by Saida's brother Hamid, the route was stunning and truly memorable. We absolutely loved the meals arranged for us. Saida was incredibly kind and even prepared my favorite Moroccan breakfast dishes upon request.
Summary: Add this to your itinerary for a truly authentic experience with a Berber family

Positive: Saida runs an excellent guesthouse. She was incredibly helpful, providing us with a packed lunch and making sure we had somewhere safe to store our bikes. The rooms are basic but have comfortable beds and a really good shower. The staff were exceptional - the best we experienced in Morocco. The setting is beautiful and the house itself is really interesting.
Negative: The rooms get very hot in summer!
