Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Fantastic staff , great food and coffee at their on site cafe . Very helpful reception staff . Beautiful clean new room and ensuite set in pretty grounds
Negative: No kettle in the room . Also a wee bit small for bags . We had suitcases as we are travelling for a long time and there wasn’t much room for them on the floor. I would definately stay again tho
Summary: Great little set up . The hub of cape trib with everything you need in one place

Positive: Beautiful location. Excellent cafe for breakfast lunch and coffee. Close to beach and forest. The walk through the rainforest and mangroves to the beach was beautiful.
Negative: Considering that prices are somewhat higher than less remote locations (understandable), I would have liked to have acceess to the normal coffee and teabags somewhere on the premises? Maybe to be collected if needed from the office? We were happy with electric jug in camp kitchen. Just a little thing that would have made a difference.
Summary: Beautiful location.

Positive: Clean, good location and comfy beds and pillows.
Negative: Would be nice to have tea/coffee facilities in cabin, the onsite cafe doesn’t open until 7.30 and as early risers it would be nice to make our own.
Summary: Clean and very comfortable bed, good location

Positive: The location was absolutely beautiful, the cabin we stayed in with the En-suite was absolutely perfect. A short walk to the local shop for groceries and a 2 minute walk to the beach. Would highly recommend to anyone travelling across the Daintree river to stay here! The drive is beautiful through the rainforest. Cape Tribulation was the furthest point north we decided and it didn’t disappoint as we drove from Geelong in Victoria.
Negative: Nothing it was everything we looked for, only thing I would suggest would maybe be a kettle in the cabin but other than that it was perfect.
Summary: 2 nights surrounded by rainforest and wildlife what’s not to love!
