Summary: Owner Rick manages his SAFARI INN (Exit 119 off Interstate I-5) exceptionally well. I was a solo elderly female traveler on a budget looking for safe, clean, non-smoking, comfortable lodging for the two days I would be visiting the famous 53-year-old, 680-acre Wildlife Safari conservation & rare species park, located less than 2 quick miles from the Inn. Arrived late (nearly 10 PM because I'd driven straight from Nanaimo City, Victoria Island, British Columbia, Canada. I'd reserved my room previously. Rick, happy to see me, welcomed me, charged me only when I actually arrived. Ample parking directly in front of my room. The door is securely locked digitally. Comfortable, King-size bed, free WiFi, well-stocked w/ ground coffee coffee maker. Convenient light switches within easy reach, two bedside lamps, Round dining table w/ two comfortable upholstered armchairs. Desk with lamp & upholstered desk chair. Tall dresser holding TV with ample drawers. main room has tall wall size mirror for full view of yourself. Carpet is fresh-smelling. Lots of hot water. Bathroom w/ shower-full size tub. Separate dressing space w/ large mirror, daylight bright light, hair dryer, sink w/ roomy counter for toiletries. Lots of clean white cotton towels. Lots of hot water. Altho Inn is located on main street, street noise was minimal; sleep environment was quiet both nights. Highly recommend and would stay here again when I visit Winston, Oregon.

Summary: This was my second stay at the Safari Inn. Both times the owners are very friendly and nice. The motel is very well kept and comfortable.

Summary: The bed was very comfortable and the shower was hot. We paid for a room with 2 Queens and were given a room with 1 Queen. I felt that we should have been refunded the amount. Other than this the place was quiet and adequate.

Summary: Was just ok. One spontaneous night stay. Read the fine print on this property. They require a 100 $ cash deposit upon check in. He said it was just in case we smoked in the room. I guess that happens at a lower grade MOTEL. He was nice enough about it tho. Room seemed clean no funky smells. Would stay again if needed.

Summary: It was basic, affordable, and just what I needed for my first night on the road on the way to somewhere else. My room was perfectly located, next to the ice and one away from steps so I didn’t have to use them (a great blessing). Parked directly in front of room. Plenty of food choices in the area. Close to gas and Interstate-5 so it was easy to get on my way toward destination. I would definitely stay here again when making the same trip to visit family.

Summary: A very nice basic room with everything you need and expect . The room was larger than most rooms Ive stayed in. Check in took 2 minutes! Quiet! And a great diner kitty-corner across the street
