Summary: We liked the spacious room with sitting area and balcony. Airconditioning was strong, and it has no adjustment, only on or off - the hotel even recommends turning it off at night! There is a ceiling fan however. Main pool was closed indefinitely, I think they could have let us know about that in advance... Smaller pool was OK, we didn't try the lap pool but others reported it very cold. Breakfast was a little disappointing for the price ($35/$38.50 on weekends), limited range and most of the hot food wasn't hot.

Summary: The property lacks an appropriate number of outlets. Trying to charge all our devices was extremely challenging. You need usb based power strips for the few outlets you have. Also, disappointed that there was no microwave in the room. Lastly, we asked for our room to be cleaned once during our stay but no one came. I even talked to your housekeeping staff cleaning the room next to mine. Pools were sadly lacking in cleanliness

Summary: This venue was a little tired. There was one usable pool. The deck was all chipped and not pretty. The rooms were fine; just outdated. The view was amazing, though, and made it worthwhile. The location was outside the busy area, but an easy walk, which was perfect. It looks like they are in the process of updating and soon will be more current.

Summary: Good position to central Cairns and room was a good size. Had to move ironing board from wardrobe to be able to use the 4 hangers provided. No drawers to put clothing in for our 8 day stay. Room was not cleaned on a regular basis and we had to insist on fresh towels for each day. Reception staff were excellent.

Summary: Convenient location, lot of off street parking, although surprised to find out on arrival it cost $20/night, room needed general maintenance - one of the light bulbs in bathroom blown; toilet wouldn’t flush properly. Unless you are from a very cold region take your trackies as room very cold even with aircon off in room.

Summary: The property is not well maintained and lacks updating inside the individual rooms. I feel the cost was too high for what you get. I ordered twice for room service both times asking for ice with my drink, was not given the ice m. Finally I asked the waitress who said she would be back with ice. She never came back or let me know otherwise.
