Negative: We thought we had the suite with a kitchen but we didn’t. No fault of theirs. Just make sure you are getting the kitchen unit if that’s what you were wanting.

Positive: The location was fantastic. It was a 2 minute walk to a pedestrian only section of old town Cefalu, filled with lots of great restaurants and shops. About 10-15 minutes from a beautiful beach that had lots more great restaurants right across the street. The apartment was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated and the host, Roberta was exceptional. Her communications were great and she gave us great recommendations.

Negative: There were a lot of stairs to access the apartment as well as inside, leading into both bedrooms. The apartment would not be suited to people who have any mobility issues. However, Roberta offered to help with bringing our bags in.

Summary: Highly recommend. Great location. Great host.

Positive: Roberta was a fantastic host and was very responsive even before I arrived from Australia. It was easy to find the property and upon entry, we found the most beautiful renovated apartment. It was a surprise in such an old building. We travelled with another couple and it was comfortable for 4 guests staying. The balcony with the view at sunset was lovely. The bathrooms were perfectly renovated and clean, and the beds were comfortable. Roberta was responsive during the stay about parking and laundry facilities and made it a very easy experience. The location was fantastic, still quiet and away from the noise but so close to the beach and the town. Would return!

Negative: The second bedroom was a little hot at nighttime because the air-conditioner did not face up towards the bedroom, it faced down towards the stairs. Maybe a fan for the second bedroom would be good. Everything else was perfect.

Positive: It was obvious that the owner Roberta put alot of thought and love into the the apartment. The decorating was warm and full of fantastic details. You have to experience it live to fully understand! The placement was also great. Short distance to great restaurants and the diffrent beaches! And our host was also very warm and helpful and she made us feel very welcome!
