Over 130 years of history nestled in the Brushy Mountains of North Carolina. Built in 1895, our two-story home featuring four bedrooms: one king, two full, and one with two twin. Two and a half baths. Great for families attending Merlefest, events at Big R Orchards, Brushy Mountain Apple Festival, FaithFest, Peach Festival, North Wilkesboro Speedway, and other area festivals and events. Close to W. Kerr Scott Trails, Dam and Reservoir for mountain biking (Dark Mountain, Overmountain Victory, and Warrior Creek) or water fun! Also a short distance from local wineries, Brushy Mountain Motor Sports in Taylorsville, Hiddenite Gem Mine, Lenoir, the High Country (Boone, Blowing Rock, West Jefferson), Blue Ridge Parkway, Grandfather Mountain Highland Games and more.

Summary: Very quaint and peaceful. If you love the old time vibe , this is the place for you. I loved the tranquility in the morning sitting on the side porch sipping my coffee and looking at the countryside.Wish we could have spent more time sitting out on those porches but we came into town for the Faithfest.

Summary: We had a lovely stay at this beautiful home! Our daughter was getting married at the Big R Orchards and this was a perfect home for the occasion. Very short drive to the Big R and very convenient to Wilkesboro, Boone and Hickory.

Summary: This home is such a peaceful and wonderful place. One can feel the peace when one steps out of the car onto the property. My Women of God group stayed three nights. We had such an awesome time. The kitchen is very well-stocked and the house was clean. Molly is a great host. We will stay there again on our next visit to Moravian Falls.

Summary: The Home was exactly what we were looking for. Great location and easy to find with GPS. Very Close to great places and our Venues. It was like staying in a early 1900's Museum Home with great Air Conditioning! Planning another Family Retreat there again in the future!

Summary: Wonderful stay at this farmhouse 6 miles away from Wilkes community college. I was there With several friends for a long weekend. Beautiful location and wonderful views into the mountains. Easy in and out. Home well looked after and beds comfortable. Kitchen well stocked and very functional. Bathrooms in excellent shape. Owner easy to communicate and very accommodating. Recommend with five stars!
