A quiet country setting 30 minutes from 100 mile wilderness trailhead on the Appalachian trail and Moosehead lake region. Wildlife can be spotted from the apartment in the back field and woods. Coffee shops and restaurants within 15 minute drive. Cozy, comfortable apartment to kick back and enjoy. State Parks include Peakes Kenny and Lily Bay in the area or a boat ride to an island in the middle of Moosehead lake with hiking trails and awesome history. 2 hour drive to Acadia National Park.
This is an old house we aquired. We have been upgrading and adding to it as we go along. There was a mention of that after 2 years. We have plans to upgrade the entry in the near future. We work hard to provide a most satisfactory stay and hope to reflect that in reviews. We live on the property if anything is not right we would like to correct any issues. Please enjoy your stay.

Summary: Great place to stay. Our dog loved the trail in their backyard. Ruth was very nice. She had everything anyone could need for a stay. Only negative which is minor was the tv/wifi was very spotting. Made watching tv hard but we were not there to watch tv. Drove to Greenville to enjoy Moosehead Lake for the day. If we ever return to Sangerville would love to visit Ruth and her place again.

Summary: The amount of detail Ruth has put into this space really makes it feel like you are staying in a cozy beach cottage of a relative. It has everything you could need for your stay and is very clean. It's in a good area, there seems to be much to do nearby especially if you are outdoorsy. Ruth was very kind and attentive, she introduced herself the moment we arrived and I could tell it would be no hassle to contact her if we needed to during our stay. I loved reading the journal entries from people who have come from all over to stay here. We're going to need a local place while our new home undergoes some construction so I hope we will be back soon to create our own entry! This place is definitely at the top of our list. Summary: The owner was very friendly and accommodating. The space she offered was very clean and thoughtfully appointed with all the dishes, cookware, towels and other things one might need. I would stay here again.

Summary: Overall everything was as advertised, except for the driveway. We arrived after dark in the rain & the driveway was very steep & hard to see. There needed to be some kind of lights! I also would not attempt this driveway in the winter.
