3 Bedroom Villa in Apokoronas, Paleloni

Our villa is located in a very tranquil and relaxing environment which is typical of the Cretan rural landscape. It has been built with local stones and wood with special attention to detail. Based mainly in the traditional Cretan architectural style, it also offers modern facilities and comforts providing the best you can expect from a fully operational house.
It is totally children friendly as it is surrounded by a big gated open space.
Outside
There are many outdoor places where you can relax and enjoy the sun or the sweet summer breeze at nights, staring at the stars in the sky. We have catered for providing various seating areas all around the villa as well as 4 pergolas for shade (2 upstairs and 2 downstairs by the pool). The pool is available all year round and is maintained twice a week. 5 sunbeds and 2 umbrellas equip the area around it. There is also a bbq for an additional option of cooking meals and spending quality time together.
Inside
The interior of the house is very convenient and cosy. On the ground floor there is a kitchen, a living area, a twin bedroom , a bathroom and a small storage. In particular, the kitchen is fully equipped with a big fridge, cooker, built-in dishwasher, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster and all the cooking utensils and cookware. In the living room there is an antique dining area, satellite TV and a fireplace which is operational during winter months. The bathroom downstairs has an enclosed shower and there is a washing machine in the wardrobe outside the bathroom. The bedroom on this floor has 2 standard sized single beds which can become a king sized bed upon request. A french door opens up to the pool area and allows tons of light to come in.
A wooden staircase leads to the upper floor where there is a master bedroom, a single bed bedroom and a bathroom. Both bedrooms have balconies where the view of the mountains and the trees takes your breath away.
The whole house has access to free unlimited wifi and hot water is always available. There is air-conditioning in all bedrooms.
Location
Apart from the house itself, the location is central enough to anything. The nearest beach, Ombrogialos, is a -5- minute drive away while other popular sandy beaches are from 10 to 20 minutes away.
The historical cities of Chania and Rethymno are less than an hour drive. Other villages with handy shops with local products are just 2 to 5 minutes away. You can also find some traditional tavernas in great proximity offering delicious Cretan dishes in reasonable prices.

Summary: The location is lovely - close to beaches and towns and a 20 min walk to local village with a couple of great restaurants. The villa has everything we needed including amazing views and it was incredibly peaceful. We wanted to stay longer

Summary: We had a beautiful holiday The villa is perfect. Spacious and clean. Restaurants, shops and cafes are a short 5 to 10 mins drive. Summary: The villa is very comfortable and has everything you need. We arrived in the middle of the night so locating the keys was a little challenging as there are two ways of getting into the property, but we got there in the end! 😊 Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and its location is good for beaches and local restaurants. Having been to the area before it worked well for us. Missing it already!

Summary: My family of 5 had a great week at this villa. After a delayed flight and late arrival, Vagelis was waiting nearby to help us find our way. It was so nice to have a few starter groceries in the fridge and the pool was so amazing that we jumped right in even though it was after midnight. The villa was well-appointed and comfortable. Kids loved the wifi! A fantastic week.

Summary: Property was great, in a secluded spot with wonderful views of the mountains. Plenty of Tavernas and restaurants nearby. The people of Crete are so friendly and this is also a good location for visiting other areas of Crete. Maria Anna the owner of the property was brilliant, friendly and helpful . Definitely a five star venue for us

Summary: We spent 3 great days at this property. When we arrived, we were greeted with brushetta in the refrigerator, bottle of wine, bread, olive oil and other items. We could put our feet up after a long journey and relax. Our property manager, Marianna, was wonderful and helped us recommendations of places to eat. We loved the local restaurant that Marianna recommended. Although during the day we were gone, we came "home" to a quiet restful place with a pool and beautiful view. Definitely a five star stay and would love to go back someday and stay longer!
