Located in the heart of history and legend, nestled in Vega de los Caseros near Cangas de Onís and on the edge of the Sella River. In the background you have the beautiful mountain range of “Picos de Europa” and the bay of Biscay and Covadonga are barely 15 Kms away.
The perfect place to enjoy a holiday in the heart of nature. Many coastal and mountain villages at a short distance, and with Oviedo and Gijón very close by. Not to mention the wonderful food from Asturias.
For lovers of nature sports we have the best river for salmon fishing in Spain, and one of the best in Europe, in which there is also canoeing, riverbank descent and rafting. There is also horseriding and beautiful footpaths along the green valleys and fields of Asturias. Mountain climbing is also spectacular in this area!

Summary: This was for us the perfect house for a fantastic holiday. The house is big and well restored with respect for its character and authenticity. It is situated on a very nice spot, just of the road to Cangas, but very quiet: in the evening all you hear are the birds and the little stream next to the house. The owners ar every nice and friendly and helped us with everything we needed. Fantastic beaches are near (20-25 minutes), just as Covadonga and the mountains of the Picos (10 minutes). We will certainly return someday.
