Positive: Lovely little hostel super close to the Cotopaxi entrance. The family that runs it are so kind and thoughtful. There's a fireplace that they lighted up for us every afternoon/evening - it's perfection to lay down in the cosy sofas around it after a tiring day of hiking. They also cooked delicious dinners every evening.
Negative: Nothing.

Positive: The property is homely, comfy and very clean. The fire place was lovely to sit at and read! I found the room and bed very comfortable, just the right amount of blankets to keep warm. The shower had good pressure and heat. They have a driver Nicholas who can help you with getting to Cotopaxi National Park - he is very kind. The family that run the lodge are very friendly and kind, they will go above and beyond to make you comfortable and happy to help in anyway they can. The food is the best I’ve had all trip (I’ve been travelling for 2.5 months) the portion sizes are very generous and just delicious. I’d highly recommend staying here if you like things a little quieter and want to feel like you’re at home while away. Cotopaxi National Park is very accessible and why I chose the property. I wasn’t expecting the level of hospitality and comfort!

Positive: The lodge was full of character and the fireplace in the common area created a wonderfully welcoming atmosphere on chilly evenings. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was generous, and the views of the volcano were absolutely breathtaking. The hosts were incredibly helpful throughout our stay.
Negative: The shower took a while to warm up.

Positive: The staff were amazing, attentive and helpful. The family made sure that the fire was always going to keep us warm, gave us milk for teas and coffees daily and made sure all our other needs were met. The cooking was £8 per person and did not disappoint, it was very delicious and filling.
Negative: The only thing we could potentially recommend would be an option as to what we could have for dinner as we were given what they were cooking my that night - which was still very tasty.

Positive: Hosts, family owned, mother and daughters are excellent in every which way. They went above and beyond the normal in all aspect. They even helped us to wash our clothes, got us mangoes from their local markets just because we said we like them. Mother’s cooking is simply superb! Had so much fu, especially with their pet lamas in the evenings.
Negative: Cannot find a single reason during our entire stay.
Summary: Simply superb, wonderful people!
