Positive: Very clean and comfortable lodge and well equipped. Peaceful and quiet with nature in your doorstep. We had a great night’s sleep

Positive: The quiet location, the view, the high standard of furnishings, etc. I liked the decor. It was very clean and well equipped and the owners were very responsive and helpful online. The book of information was useful. I liked that binoculars had been provided as well as a guide to British birds. The sun deck was great. The mini dishwasher was handy. Fresh milk in a jug in the fridge was a nice touch and I liked it that biscoff biscuits and chocolates were provided as well as teabags and instant coffee. The shower gel and liquid hand soap were good. We enjoyed watching a film on Netflix. We could see the stars at night, which was wonderful. The neighbours were quiet.
Negative: It was a little tricky to find but we were OK as the owners messaged us in advance to warn us and give directions. The shower sprayed on to the bathroom floor a bit as there was a screen but no door to close for the shower cubicle itself.
Summary: A fantastic getaway from it all in a comfortable and stylish wooden ranch-style accommodation.
