Positive: I love everything about this property, you could turn up to your room completely empty handed as they have thought of everything right down to my favourite eye patches in the room, snacks, real coffee, stocked mini bar & beautiful bathroom products, lighting of choice in the room so spacious and very comfortable & I had such a nice quiet stay with no noises which is super important to me
Summary: Stay of true indulgence:)

Positive: The grounds.
Negative: Rooftop spa an extra charge. Furniture in the bar looked worn. No table cloths for evening meal. The restaurant tables seemed quite basic and not in keeping with the rest of the hotel furnishings.

Positive: The staff were all fabulous and couldn't do enough. Meals in the Clocktower were all of good quality particularly the R&J steaks. Outdoor movies on the lawn were a nice touch, as was the outdoor terrace with heaters, lighting and music serving bar meals, drinks and freshly made pizzas. The 6 hole golf was an added bonus for novices like ourselves and was a great sense of fun, one of the cars from the Hotel dropped us off and collected us. They were finishing a new mini golf for youngsters which my grandchildren will love. There are a variety of wonderful Spa experiences and the Spa, as everywhere, was spotless. The Chamber services were wonderful, with the evening trolley coming around every night to make sure you had everything you needed for that evening. The girls kept our room looking as it did when we first arrived, plenty of fresh towels and toiletries etc. Dining staff, thank you Freya, tried to accomodate your every wish. Reception staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a happy one. We will return to Rudding Park.
Negative: On this site we booked a superior room (Follifoot) which stated 'some of these rooms have balcony or terrace'. So we requested a balcony or terrace from the property. We had to pay a substanial ammount more to garauntee such a room. We were allicated a room with a terrace but it wasn't one of the covered terraces as pictured and had a spa view, not a garden view. We complained and got moved. The food in Horto was substandard and not worth the price point.
