Positive: Lovely host, comfortable room, clean facilties. You can drive to the Stratford Plateau in about 20 minutes where there are several wonderful walks with great views of Mount Taranaki. I was pleasantly surprised at how peaceful it was at night but then the place wasn't at capacity

Negative: Parking a little confusing as the spots outside the shop next door didn't really seem appropriate. However there is plenty of parking with no time restrictions on the next road along

Positive: The beds were very comfortable. Despite the cold weather there was plenty of heating available to use.

Negative: The light came into the bedroom from the street. Black out curtains would have been beneficial.
