Positive: The hosts (Lori and Brian) are super nice people and very accommodating. Lori tended to be the primary communicator and she was quick to reply and always very helpful. They are relatively new to hosting guests, but they are naturally enthusiastic and genuinely appreciative of guests that choose their BnB. I was given a choice for breakfast and went with the lighter option as I was going to be on a long ferry ride the next morning. Lori went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed and their coffee is a special blend made just for them. The upstairs area with bedroom, bathroom and sitting areas was more than I had anticipated. It was super comfortable and the bed was amazing!

Negative: While I really liked everything about the location, this BnB is close to the road. While it is not heavily traveled, you do hear vehicles passing through which lessens and fades going into the night. I didn't have any trouble sleeping, but it's just something to be aware of. Still, the overall location and hospitality totally outweigh any sounds a guest may hear from the roadway!

Positive: Lori and Brian are wonderful hosts, friendly and thoughtful and great cooks for the breakfast 😋. The rooms are spacious and cosy with a lot of thought to detail. The house is a 5 minutes walk from the water and we could watch a beautiful sunrise. Cap Sable Island with it's beautiful white beaches is 15 minutes away. Even worth a swim in October. Should we come back to N.S. we for sure will go back to Route3BnB.

Positive: The space was roomy and clean. The bed was comfortable. There was a coffee bar in our space that had French press so that we could make coffee anytime we wanted. It was excellent coffee. There was also a selection of tea for tea drinkers. The fridge was stocked with bottles of water and had room for what we needed to keep cool. Since I go to bed before my husband, it was nice to have a separate TV room away from the main bedroom. The breakfast was exceptional. Absolutely top notch. We would have paid, at least $40-$50 in a restaurant. The hosts were friendly and very engaging. I felt like they were very sensitive to our needs and desires and let us know about different attractions in the area.
