Positive: Location was good, room was well appointed. We appreciated the books, tea/coffee tray and the breakfast items. Communication from the property was very good - we had to change our check-in time at the last minute and the host was efficient in responding.

Negative: I found the bed and pillows EXTREMELY hard and uncomfortable, meaning I slept very badly. Also the air conditioning / heating was erratic - it started up on its own and the room got far too hot. We found it difficult to regulate the room temperature other than by opening the door onto the balcony (which made the room very noisy)

Positive: The room was quiet and beautifully decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable. There was a refrigerator, with bottled water and a kettle with tea. There was a shared kitchen available with a microwave and refrigerator.

Negative: The balcony overlooking the garden was beautiful, but there were biting midges, so I couldn’t enjoy it as much as I would’ve liked. Also just a personal preference to not have the air freshener fragrance plugged in throughout the hallways. Since I am sensitive to these, I wouldn’t want to spend much time in the common areas.

Summary: Quiet, lovely room in hospitable hotel.

Positive: Large and comfortable room. Good bathroom, good bed and quiet.

Negative: Very expensive indeed. Not worth the cost-benefit because you can't do anything on foot, you have to take the subway for everything. Furthermore, there is no elevator, the staff made it clear that it was only for luggage and if we weren't just carrying backpacks we would have had to make two trips. There wouldn't be enough room for two people in the small elevator.

Positive: The property was near to an exhibition we were attending so it suited us to stay there. The lady that greeted us was very polite and helpful. The room was very clean and had all the amenities you would need including tea and coffee as well as shampoo shower gel. It was prefect for what we needed.
