Positive: Fantastic position, surrounded by fields and overlooking a lake. Facilities were good, with a couple of pitch & putt golf holes and a lake with kayak and fishing available if wanted. Well located with easy access to many local attractions and less than an hours drive into Bath. Postcode sent by hosts took us straight to the property. Lodge was comfortable for a family of 5, quiet, well equipped, had excellent heating for a fairly chilly October week and hosts left a lovely welcome pack on arrival. All in all a great, relaxing stay for a few days and would definitely consider returning if we visit the area again.

Negative: Shape of lodge means that there are several restricted height areas. Could be an issue for taller people but wasn't a surprise as is clearly shown in photos on advertisement. Bathrooms do not have any heating and get extremely cold. Heated towel rails would be perfect.

Positive: Country feeling with a short drive to local communities. Peaceful, nice outlook over the country and warm. All facilities you need.

Negative: The bed was slumped. The building needs some leveling and attention to stairs and railings. Was hard to find in the dark.

Positive: Accomodation was perfect. Well laid out, everything you could possibly want. Excellent heating and hot water. Very quiet. Lovely views from front and back. Pitch and putt was well used. Dogs enjoyed the walks, felt very safe to let them off. Sausage, bacon, eggs and milk were appreciated. Lovely bottle of Prosecco. WiFi was very good.

Negative: I don’t think there was anything that I disliked. Everything you needed was there.
