Positive: Where to start? An idyllic home from home. Peaceful and in nature. Close to lovely walks and swim spots. And in middle of east and west lake spots. On a farm, with beautiful little cottage with fireplace and hot tub and ...views!

Positive: It was well equipped and comfortable and the location was ideal, the local pub was fantastic.

Negative: Some decor is a little dated but it was perfect for our needs, especially having 2 dogs.

Positive: Absolutely gorgeous cottage, comfortable and the hot tub with the views was fabulous! Location was great. We didn’t want to leave!

Negative: Don’t forget to pack some tea/coffee/sugar, the kitchen is so well stocked with cleaning equipment, appliances and utensil’s but nothing for a cuppa after a long journey

Positive: Amazing little cottage with great facilities (hot tub with that view was an added bonus) Cosy, comfortable & clean - the neighbours were really friendly too.

Negative: One tiny downside is the dog poo around the property. We noticed a few dogs in the garden a few days running which were from the farm just beside us who left us some little treats but besides from that, it was an excellent stay!

Positive: We all loved rose cottage! Such a lovely cottage, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub was such a treat, and the beds were SO comfortable. There was everything provided in the kitchen, plenty of towels and even maps of the local area. Around the cottage the area was quiet and beautiful, with the most lovely pub a few minutes walk away. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Negative: The only thing that could have been better was the directions to the cottage. It wasn’t an issue as the locals were very friendly and knew exactly where we needed to go!

Positive: Beautiful location. Awesome views from the hot tub. The owner put our fridge/freezer items from our shopping away as we were a few mins after our shopping delivery. The fire was great and our logs lasted our stay. The beds/bedding were soooo comfy. The place was really clean. They allowed us to take our 2 bunnies at last minute. Came immediately to change our smoke alarm battery. Really recommend this place. The people, the location. It was everything we needed and more.

Negative: We had to clear cat/dog poop from the garden but poop in the countryside is expected! Just step with caution or clear it up. Our son has cat allergies and he really struggled but this was absolutely no fault of the owner.

Summary: Awesome location, cosy cottage. Lovely, helpful owners!

Positive: amazing location, peaceful, remote, just the kind of got away you need

Negative: the only thing that we can really dislike was the comfort of the mattresses. I have never wanted to get back to my own bed so much, our backs where in bits after this trip. But other than that this place is amazing and highly recommend
