Positive: It was all great. Pretty thatched property in a Convenient location to coast and local attractions Good pub and shop on the doorstep The well enclosed, huge garden for our sausage dog Duchy! Very comfortable beds Fully equipped, felt like home from home Much appreciated welcome gifts, flowers, biscuits and wine! The bathroom was large, warm and modern Parking is convenient by the steps to the cottage We will definitely return, especially out of season as the price is really competitive Nothing to do with the property, but we had a beautiful, sunny week which always helps!

Negative: Although the living room is small, we think a bigger sofa would have been more comfortable to lounge on. However, this didn't prevent our enjoyment of this lovely property

Positive: The cottage was very comfortable and home from home for us. We were visiting the area specifically to try and see Swallowtail butterflies, and for general sightseeing, walking and motorcycle touring. The cottage was located in a small village and was conveniently located close to the village shop and pub. The shop was well stocked for the basics we required. We visited the pub a couple of times and the meals and beer were excellent. The village of Catfield was close to Hickling Broad and the visitors centre which we visited a couple of times, once walking there and back (about 3.5 miles either direction). We managed to see a few Swallowtail butterflies, which had just started emerging. From Catfield we had rides out to the North Norfolk Railway at Sheringham, and out to Southwold in Suffolk, and visited Horsey Wind Pump. The cottage was well equipped and very comfortable, with a beautiful rear garden and was very quiet. There was an off road parking space for one car (or two motorbikes in our case). Some reviews have mentioned the stairs to an upstairs bedroom; for a couple there are no issues, as the main double bedroom is down-stairs. There was a bottle of wine and a packet of biscuits left for us on arrival at the cottage, which was very kind. Overall a great holiday
