Summary: This resort uses self check in which is overall fairly straightforward. However, the communication was poor and directions to our specific room were very confusing. Texting was an offered mode of communication but responses were poor and at times never came. Phone communication was available but again staff were slow to return calls or never did. The location was great for our purpose but the resort was like a ghost town. No frills and little support but the room was clean and had a nice view. So, as long as things go smoothly, it’s a decent place.

Summary: Read mixed reviews when deciding to book our stay. Everything in our room was new and clean. Gorgeous bay view with the sound of a waterfall from our deck. The waterfall picnic area was a wonderful surprise. The only thing I would add for the staff, is to leave the hall light on for quests to find our rooms and keypad. Wonderful stay, thank you!

Summary: Apparently, I went in an off-season time. There were no amenities . Register your room online ahead of time there’s no Internet service. I had to keep driving back into town and there are no restaurants local so pack a lunch pack a dinner pack of breakfast.But WOW. It was so worth it! I shall return. Better prepared

Summary: We had a nice stay at the hotel even though everything was closed. We knew that when booking though. The property as a whole needs renovating (hence closed), but the location on a peninsula was great with great views. You can see the potential of the property. And the grounds are pretty well maintained. You can walk around the grounds from the harbor to the other side/other bay. We saw an otter, harbor seal, sea stars, and eagles. Our room was clean and had everything we needed, but the carpet definitely needs replacing. We would stay there again if cost was still reasonable. I would choose an oceanfront room though, to get a full view of the bay. The staff were great and were very responsive to our needs.

Summary: There was no fire place but there was a view and the door wouldn't open when the staff finally came it was two hours later

Summary: Since the main museum and building was being renovated, we didn't get to visit there, but the bay view was very nice and we had everything we needed to be comfortable. Nice roomy and convenient for us to go whale watching.

Summary: We had a great stay. Would have liked to see the main building open. I understand they are going through changes. It was the off season. The grounds were beautiful.
