Summary: We booked quite last minute looking for somewhere to stay whilst attending a festival at Newark Showground. Very reasonably priced, great communication, very clean, everything you need, comfortable, great parking. The only thing I would suggest is another way to pay for the "tuck shop" items in addition to the cash option. I would 100% stay here again. Thank you!

Summary: What a delightful little property. Rooms are lovely and recently refurbished, and beautifully clean. Well stocked tea, coffee & water with complimentary biscuits. The owner was in regular contact before our stay, sent details on how to access the property and was so helpful with tips on local places to eat etc. There was even a little tuck shop with an honesty box for chocolate and cans of drinks. Wonderful experience, wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend

Summary: This was a small hotel, clean and thankfully no other people coming and going as iur room was right next to front entrance. Very clean, but extremely tiny. Luggage had to bevtucked away. Very clean, but very over priced for the size of the room.

Summary: We stayed for 2 nights and on arrival it was basic but a very clean room & bathroom. We were just disappointed that our room had not been replenished with clean towels or tea/coffee etc. for 2nd day/night. We weren't bothered about the bed not being changed but to return in the evening after our day out to see our dirty towels were still on the bathroom floor from the night before and morning was not nice. I know we could have called and I'm sure the owner would have brought us fresh towels etc. but when you pay a cleaning fee for a 2 night stay, you expect it to be cleaned after our first night and not have to reused damp, used towels etc.

Summary: We had the most amazing weekend ! Room was very clean and comfortable - great facilities and very convenient for the wedding we were attending at kelham hall. So glad we chose this option to stay at ! Thank you James for a wonderful nights sleep after a very long day ! Great pub next door too !!
