Summary: The Cozy Pea was perfect for our visit to Shiner for family events. Had plenty of space. Property is convenient to town and Shiner family. Very clean with all the amenities we needed. The Byrds are great hosts. Will stay here again when visiting in the future.

Summary: Just as described: The Cozy Pea was the perfect retreat while we were in town for a family reunion. Clean & comfortable. We have stayed at many rentals over the past 20 years and am happy to report that this one is probably the best equipped. . We have gotten used to being prepared to needing supply our own various items(not needed here). Owners are extremely prompt with responding and very welcoming. Will definitely keep this on our repeat list. Our granddaughter did not want to leave “the peacock house”.

Summary: Looking for a quality place in a small town and I hit the jackpot! The place was so spacious, incredibly clean and perfect location. We had 3 adults and 4 children ranging in age from 2-14. Everyone got their own bed. Highly recommend if you are going to be in the Shiner area. Owners are super nice! We will be returning!

Summary: Really great spot, specially for multiple families - we had room for us, the baby, our other 2 kids, and an aunt and uncle. It felt plenty spacious! Our daughter especially loved all the peacock decor. The owners welcome you to visit their home, so we drove out and got to play with all their goats and peacocks and chickens and turkeys and dogs… it was really fun!
