Positive: It was a quirky little cottage with lots of eccentric items inside. It was perfect for what we needed and the host was very welcoming. Even left us a little treat to enjoy.

Negative: Unfortunately the outdoor tub was just a bath tub. Not a hot tub as I had imagined it to be. I think a hot tub would get lots more use. We didn’t feel the need to use and outside bath tub when there was one inside. A hot tub would make the cottage much better. Also the cooker is an Aga which unfortunately we couldn’t get to grips with. But luckily had our air fryer in our van so used that. So maybe an air fryer might be a good addition to the kitchen as another option.

Summary: We had a lovely comfy cosy stay.

Positive: We liked everything. We were 2 friends sharing. The only issue we had was the single bed was small, thankfully one of us was small - so it probably should be advertised as a single for child.

Positive: The cottage was so comfortable and had everything we needed and more. It has so many beautiful touches. Stayed for four nights and could have easily stayed for more! Ruth is a wonderful host. She met us when we checked in and was very helpful with local things to do. She even baked us a delicious cake!

Positive: Stunning cottage with fantastic facilities! We both loved the log burner and one of the best examples of a shower and bath I’ve used! Lovely location for the nearby wedding venue if you are a guest!

Negative: It would be nice to have some instant coffee and some more glasses for water/squash! My partner found the mattress a bit too hard but I understand that’s down to preference. We also thought a curtain/shutter for the front door would make it less attractive to midges/bugs in the night.

Summary: Overall a fantastic cottage that’s great value for money!
