Positive: We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed our time here. The hotel may not be brand new, but it’s truly wonderful – surrounded by beautiful greenery and offering a peaceful atmosphere. The staff is very helpful and friendly, especially the young dark-haired bartender working at the pool bar, who was exceptionally attentive. The pool is excellent, with comfortable sun loungers. Guests also have free access to a nearby private beach, which is a great bonus. Although the hotel is located slightly outside the city, you can easily reach Catania city center or the airport in just 10–15 minutes by Uber. Breakfasts might be a bit repetitive, but there’s definitely plenty to choose from. Overall, the value for money is outstanding!

Positive: The hotel pool was good and room was a decent size. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast.too.

Negative: The staff were too busy to give us their focus. The room wasn't really clean. The hotel could do with a lot of modernising. We imagined it was great at one time but has slipped in standards over the years.

Summary: Ok stay for one night, near to Catania airport.

Positive: Lovely grounds around hotel which were very well maintained. Breakfast was good with a lot of choice. Staff were lovely and beach across the road was beautiful. Close to airport. Easy short drive into Catania centre with bus stop across the road.

Negative: Our double room with ‘terrace’ had a small sitting area outside but was enclosed with a wall of shrubbery with no sun coming through, making the area dark. The pool was on the other side of these bushes and fairly music played all day providing no quiet sanctuary in your room if you needed it. Also our room 123 needed attention as there was wall plaster crumbling in an area and also bubbling on the wall in another area. Our daughters’ rooms were better and looked freshly painted. However, their ‘terrace’ didn’t exist . You could open the patio door but there was nowhere to step onto as the shrubbery came right up to the patio doors and then there was a glass balustarde preventing you from trying to step out into the bushes( room 103 and 105) and again no outlook whatsoever.

Summary: Sicily is beautiful with lots to see and do.
