Negative: Pretty much everything else was not up to standard. Uncomfortable pillows, old linen, very old flat, broken plates, thermites eaten floors, no wifi

Positive: Spacious apartment and comfortable. Balconies a bonus.

Negative: Only one central toilet! The listing is misleading. When you book an expensive 2 bedroom apartment, both with en-suite bathrooms, you expect to have separate toilets rather than one for the whole apartment. The one toilet had no sink, so you had to go through the apartment to your bathroom to wash your hands. Outside terrace was a run down mess where even the plastic flowers had given up.

Positive: The size of the place was very good. It had a small outside area that was fine to let air through the house. We tended to open the lovely long windows and watch the street below. The street was fairly quiet for a city but so close to great places to eat and bars. There is also very chic shops close by.

Negative: Maybe another loo would have been great

Summary: A great stay, in good accommodation very close to probably some of the best parts of Bordeaux

Positive: Fantastic location and brilliant large space that was perfect for 5 of us! Property was clean and the host was great.

Negative: No kettle (used the coffee machine instead) and stairs are steep but these were minor things for us that we didn’t care about :)

Positive: Loads of space excellent location central to old city round the corner from Gambetta

Negative: Pillows and towels have seen better days.No kettle in the kitchen. Filter coffee maker and senseo machine available. Fridge works but no ice box compartment. One separate toilet with no hand washing in the same room.

Positive: The apartment was spacious and well located. The beds comfortable.

Negative: It is not that I didn't like the stay in Rolland, but as we are not European, we are used to having top sheets on the bed, and whilst the second bathroom was lovely to look at it really needed a proper shower. Also, there were building improvements occurring that were not communicated.
