Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The lovely touches with a box of teas, coffees, biscuits etc. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. Bright accommodation with lovely rear garden, felt very private. Easy walking distance to centre of Bamburgh. Very happy with our stay, felt quite at home. The conservatory was a great additional space to sit.

Negative: Curtains in twin room would need blackout lining. It's very bright and light first thing. Nothing else to note. The property had several negative reviews from a couple of years ago about overgrown garden and the wobbly sink in the twin room bathroom. I was a bit sceptical about booking as I couldn't see any subsequent good reviews. I'm happy to say those things were rectified and the garden was well kept and the bathroom in the twin room was new. Feedback was clearly acted on.

Negative: Nothing really, it was only used as a base , we weren’t there much, out every day. Travelling.
